Project: Extension and alterations to a semi-detached Victorian family home in West Bridgford

Status: Complete 2011.

The extension and alterations to this house have opened up the rear of this semi-detached home to create a new open plan kitchen and dining space.  The new folding glazed doors open up the house to the rear creating a strong physical and visual link to the garden outside.   The design incorporates a new utility room, toilet, and cloaks area which allows the home to function for everyday family use.  The original main reception room has been retained at the front of the house and the original dining room has been opened up into the new extension and now functions as a snug.
